Enable Add-ins for Microsoft Word

Apparently due to a recent Office Update we are no longer able to install plug-ins into Microsoft Word (SmartCite or RefWorks), when we try we see the error “Office 365 has been configured to prevent individual acquisition and execution of Office Store Add-ins.”

I was told by Mr. Ara Mesdjian in a support ticket that "that Office Store Add-ins are not enabled (and have never been enabled) for our Office 365 tenant" and he directed me to request it here.
