Independent Analytics Plug-In

Description

Independent Analytics is a user-friendly Wordpress plug-in that provides a quick view of web analytics at a glance. In particular, University Health Services is especially interested in this option because it ensures we're complying with HIPAA laws. Unfortunately, Google Analytics is not HIPAA compliant. After consulting with our campus HIPAA Officer, we recognized that our options for web analytics were limited to either a very expensive software our organization would need to purchase, or FREE Independent Analytics, which integrates directly with Wordpress.

I believe this plug-in would be a HUGE improvement for easy-to-access analytics that don't sell use our data for other purposes. The plug-in is easy to understand and would likely allow more staff managing websites across campus to gather data that may have previously been inaccessible to them due to Google Analytics' complexity.
