UW Events: Display day of the week in the event listing

Description

As your team is working on the events tool in UW Theme 2.0, I wanted to pass along that we would love to be able to display the day of the week in event listings and on the event. Some of our staff are even asking me to add the weekday to the title of the event.

If it's helpful, here's what my colleague, who manages our undergraduate programs, wrote. We were adding drop-in advising sessions for students:

"Students think via day of the week since their class schedules are specific to the day. It is a small detail that helps students see, at a glance, whether the session will work for them."
