Feature request details

What problem does this address?

When the UW People Listing block is set to one column with no images, there is too much spacing around each person container. Content is spaced so far apart that it no longer looks like the content is related. Typically there would be an empty space next to the person content where an image might display, but I have removed it from the inspector since this was shared as a bug and should be fixed in a later update of UW Theme 2.0.

What is your proposed solution?

If you have an idea, share it. If not, describe what a good outcome looks like. If you have any examples or links that demonstrate what you're looking for, please include them here.

Potentially enable Block Spacing controls, so the user can control how far apart person entries are.

How will this impact you?

What would this improve or reduce? (time, errors, accessibility issues, user experience, support requests). If you have it, share any evidence.

This would improve the visual balance of pages where we use this list layout for displaying people, as well as the readability. When the content is spaced closer together, it’s easier for people to tell the items belong together.

Priority

Choose one priority level:

  • High — This feature would significantly expand what I can do in WordPress or support an important workflow or content need. It would provide strong value to many users.
  • Medium — This would meaningfully improve my workflow or make tasks easier, but I can still accomplish my goals without it.
  • Low — A helpful enhancement that adds convenience or polish, but isn’t essential to my core work.
