Use of Featured Content Block with UW Events Post Functionality

Description

This is a request to enable the use of the Featured Content Block functionality with UW Events Posts to grant users the ability to display events in an alternative way (and in a way that might be more visually appealing). At present, we display our events using featured content blocks (and we do so "by hand"). It would be helpful if the UW Events Post functionality would "feed" into Featured Content Blocks (in addition to the list option) to allow users to tailor the visual experience for their audiences. Dunno if this makes any sense as written; in that event, please contact Matt Goins, who can translate my nonsense into an actionable item.
